Lake Terrace tip, in Melton, has been open again for several weeks and the same booking system applies for visits there.

Parents can register a birth at the Melton Mowbray office - go to www.leicestershire.gov.uk/registrars/birth-registration/register-a-birth to book an appointment.

County Hall leader, Nick Rushton, said: “More services are up and running, which is good news.

“And, where it’s safe to do to, we’ll continue to re-open them.

“Whatever phase we’re in, we must make social distancing, good hand hygiene and spotting the symptoms a new way of life.”
