The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal golf tournament, usually held in June, will be held on Friday, October 14 at Melton Mowbray Golf Club.

The Better Ball Stableford tournament (handicap limits: gents 28, ladies 36) will have a two-tee start, 9am to 11am.

Entry is £12 per player (Melton Mowbray Golf Club members) and £20 visitors.

The Melton RBL branch’s AGM will be held on Monday, October 17 from 7.45pm. The Armistice Supper (three course meal with tea/coffee and mints) will be held at the club on Friday, November 4, 7.30pm for 8pm. Tickets (£12.50) are on sale at the club.
