Police warn egg-throwing Melton youths

Reports of the anti-social behaviour were all made in the Scalford Road area of town.

They caused damage and distress to the people who were targeted.

Melton police officers identified the culprits and say they have warned them about the consequences of repeating their behaviour.

PCSO Will Berridge posted on the force Facebook page: “These incidents came to some expense with a report of damage to property.

“We are pleased to inform you that after conducting some investigating we have found a group of youths that are responsible.

“This group have been dealt with accordingly, using our incremental approach, and are being monitored by the beat team if any further incidents occur.”
