Gardening cold callers warning
A WARNING has been issued about cold callers offering to do gardening work.
Voluntary Action Melton, which runs a volunteer gardening scheme, said it had been alerted to an incident in the Welby Lane area of Melton where a woman in her 80s paid £180 to have a hedge cut and her garden tidied up. The workmen started the work but after half an hour left and never returned.
