Geoff Allard pedalled from Land’s End, in Cornwall, to John O’Groats, in Scotland, to raise £3,170 for the Treble One Trust, founded by Stewart to fund specialist equipment for fellow sufferers of motor neurone disease (MND).

Stewart sadly lost his courageous battle with the illness three years ago aged 44 and Geoff was motivated to take on the epic cycle challenge in his memory.

He was one of hundreds of cyclists who part in the Deloitte Ride across Britain, a nine-day challenge through 23 counties in England, Wales and Scotland.
