Church is prepared for its big day
A small team of volunteers have been busy cleaning up St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, so that everything is spick and span for the launch of the building's Re-ordering Project on Saturday, October 22nd.
From 10am until 12noon, and again at 2pm until 4pm, slide show presentations will outline the problem areas in church and how it is intended to tackle them. The Rector, the Revd Kevin Ashby, will then describe the benefits of the Project.
The latest plans will be on show and positioned where the changes will be taking place. Members of the Project Committee will be on hand throughout morning and afternoon sessions to answer your questions. Refreshments will be available in one of the key areas for change - the North Transept.
