Charity launches new social club

MONDAY 11AM: Thanks to a grant from Make it Happen, the Ragdale Hall and Melton Times community chest, the Alzheimer's Society is launching a free new social club for people with dementia and their carers.

The name of the club has yet to be decided but it will meet on the first Wednesday of each month at The Edge Children's and Community Centre in Dalby Road, Melton, starting on Wednesday, April 1 from 10am to 11.30am.

The club will provide an opportunity to meet others in similar situations in a relaxed, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. There will also be a selection of Alzheimer's Society leaflets, magazines and books available to browse or borrow.
