Car crashes through garden wall in Asfordby Road

Emergency services were called to Asfordby Road in Melton this afternoon (Friday) after a car left the road and crashed through a garden wall.

Traffic was backed up in both directions following the incident, which happened shortly after 3pm.

Firefighters attended the scene while police officers were directing traffic.

Residents posted these images on social media shortly after the crash.

There is no news yet on whether anyone was injured in the collision.
