All welcome to attend Eastwell History Group's next meeting

A talk by Margaret Hill reflecting her grandfather's experiences in World War One will be held at the next Eastwell History Group meeting on Tuesday.

Margaret will talk about his time as a platoon leader on an ambulance train bringing wounded allied soldiers back from the Front Line to England for treatment and convalescence.

The meeting will also include diary readings from the families of Geoff Goodson and Colin Darby.

The event which is aimed at people of all ages is at Eastwell Village Hall and starts at 7.30pm. The price for non-members is £2 on the door.
