Plenty of treats at party

Much fun was had at '¨the eighth annual Starlight Night Party held at Waltham Church on All Hallows Eve this week.

This ‘alternative to Hallowe’en’ party was enjoyed by 47 children and their parents/carers in the newly refurbished building, which was decorated with lights and stars.

As well as playing party games, eating hot dogs, making mocktails and icing biscuits, the partygoers were able to make a clay tea-light holder, a space monster and get their faces and nails painted.

The chocolate tombola was very popular as well as the cake and book stall.

It is hoped that at least £250 was raised for Waltham Primary School and Pre-school at this eventwhere there were plenty of treats and no tricks!
