Superheroes to greet customers at Melton restaurant

Mother Hubbard’s Dessert Cupboard is back open today (Monday) and tomorrow there will be a special appearance at the Market Place business by the likes of Captain America and the Snow Queen.

Youngsters are also being invited to dress as their favourite superheroes and princesses when they visit the eaterie from 3pm tomorrow.

The restaurant, which has been closed due to the coronavirus lockdown, is now under new management and will be open seven days a week from 11am to 10pm.

All pubs, cafes and restaurants are permitted to reopen in England from today as part of the latest easing of Covid restrictions.

Groups of six people can sit together indoors or two households of any size.
