Brewery launches Olympic ale

A LOCAL brewery has launched a special beer to mark the Olympic Torch’s arrival in the region last week.

Belvoir Brewery, in Old Dalby, has launched Torch Lite - a blonde lite beer at 3.6 per cent alcohol but with a hoppy aroma and finish.

Selected outlets have already been selling the beer, as well as it being sold in the brewery’s sample room.

Torch Lite is the forerunner for Belvoir Brewery’s Olympic special ale ‘Personal Best’ - a refreshing 4.4 per cent alcohol beer which was due to be available from the brewery as of yesterday (Wednesday, July 11).
