18th Long Clawson Food Fayre will be bigger and better than ever

A celebration of food, drink and crafts from across the Vale will take place on Saturday.

The 18th Long Clawson Village Hall Food Fayre which starts at 10am to 3pm, will feature over 25 stalls selling a wide range of local produce, crafts, gifts and refreshments.

Run by Long Clawson volunteers, the event continues to be well-supported with all proceeds going to local community charities.

Confirmed marketeers this year include The Melton Cheeseboard, Belvoir Brewery, Stenson Preserves, Botterill Free Range Birds, Phoenix Crafts, Collars by Tilly, Jupes Giftware, With...Chocolate, Cherizena Coffee, Utterly Pottery, Dobsons Delhi, Bowering Butchers, Haven Bakery, Lings Lane Larder, Rutland Charcuterie, cake decorating showcase, BBQ foods, Phoenix GiftCards, On The Sands Deli, Wicken Windmill Flours, The Fairtrading Post, Hambleton Bakery, Local Honey and English Gingerbread.

Admission is £1 for adults and 50p for children. Stallholders can set-up Friday evening from 6pm, or from 8am on the Saturday.

Refreshments will be served all day and include bacon butties and light lunches.
