Superheroes to give out 800 free Easter eggs to Melton families
The heart-warming initiative has been organised by the Unlock Your You mental health charity, in collaboration with Melton Mowbray and District Round Table and town stores, Morrisons supermarket and Spar.
Many of the eggs were donated by the Melton community with the others coming from Morrisons and Spar.

Various superheroes and the Easter bunny will be giving out the chocolate treats at eight different locations in the Melton area on Easter Monday.
Diane Dale, of Unlock Your You, told the Melton Times: “We are going out over Easter to lift the spirits of local people.
“We’ve taken the superheroes out with us at other events and the children absolutely love them.”
Local Morrisons’ community champion, Rob Morrish, added: “Any children in the area can come along and get one of our eggs.

“We’ve got around 800 to give out and we are doing it just to bless the children and do something nice for the community.
“The aim is also to highlight mental health issues and the support people can get.”
