Melton’s Santa Fun Run to go ahead with Covid restrictions

The event, which is organised by the Rotary Club of Melton Mowbray, will take place on the weekend of December 12 and 13 with social distancing measures in place to limit the spread of coronavirus.

Patricipants can opt to do the 5km route or a one-mile walk and they can do it on their own or with family or friends.

Those involved can choose a charity of their choice and there will be staggered starts in small groups from 10am on both days, if Covid restrictions allow on those dates.

The fun run or walk can also be completed at any time on those two days of the event, which is sponsored by Melton Building Society.
