The hugely popular Trumpton Fire Engine is still be touring Melton this Christmas, but the traditional fundraiser is a little different this year due to Covid restrictions.

Trumpton, which is manned by crew members from Melton fire station, began its rounds on Monday and the guys will be out again tonight (Wednesday) tomorrow and Friday in various streets, starting out each day at 6pm.

They can’t knock on doors this year to collect funds, but you can go to www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/trumpton-meltonmowbray-1 to donate, with money going to local charities.
