Melton garage owner dismisses closure rumours
A Melton garage owner has dismissed rumours that he's closing down and says it's business as usual.
Ian Williamson, owner of Wilson’s Garage on Regent Street, said the ownership of the site would be changing hands in the next few weeks but his business isn’t closing or moving anywhere.
Mr Williamson, who leases the site and has run his independent business from its current site for 23 years, said: “The buildings are being sold but nothing is going to change with the business - it’s still Wilson’s Garage. We’re not closing or moving anywhere and we’ll still be MOTing and repairing as we’ve always done.”
