Pupils support babyloss group
MELTON babyloss support group Stephen’s Footprints has been able to donate handmade fleece blankets to Leicester General Hospital thanks to the fundraising support of a school in Thurmaston.
Pupils at Roundhill Academy helped raise cash so that Stephen’s Footprints could buy fleece material to make the blankets for full-term stillborn babies.
Pupils held a non-uniform day to support Jo Cooke, a Roundhill Academy teacher, who lost her baby Lexi and is a member of the support group.
