Long Field Academy students take part in Red Hand Day
Red Hand Day is an annual commemoration drawing attention to the plight of children forced to serve as soldiers in wars and armed conflicts.
Children in year seven and eight organised a cake raffle on Friday, and are planning to create an enormous wall display of the whole school’s red hand prints.
