Rare breed livestock to go on show and sale
A huge range of traditional and native breeds of British farm livestock will be on show and on sale at Melton Cattle Market next Friday and Saturday (September 9 and 10).
The event, now in its 14th year, has been a fabulous success, with close to 1,000 sheep annually and a good selection of cattle and pigs.
There will also be a graded traditional pure poultry and waterfowl sale on Saturday.
