Impressive turnout for national sheep event at Melton Cattle Market
Melton Cattle Market was a hive of activity when sheep farmers from across the country attended the prestigious NSA Eastern Region Winter Fair.
The biennial event featured exhibitions, displays and seminars, together with trade stands.
Additional highlights included the stockjudging competition, in which SamCrossland of Nottinghamshire was awarded first place.

Hide AdNSA chief executive Phil Stocker said: “What was noticeable about the fair this year was that it was somewhat encouraging to see the high number of young people present on the day.
“I hope each and every one of them was able to leave the event with extra information to aid their studies or sheep farming enterprises as they progress through their careers.”
