mmtp-26-02-26 new sections for Girlguides
Girlguiding leaders in the Melton Mowbray area are opening new sections for local teenagers to join.
Melton Division Girlguiding is opening two new Ranger units – for girls aged 14 to 17 year old girls – which is the largest growing section in the movement.
The division wants to offer more girls the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of being a member of Girlguiding - from adventurous activities to learning skills to enhance their CVs.
From April 2026, the division will be offering places on a choice of evenings to fit in with the busy lives of girls in this age group.
Go to www.girlguiding.org.uk/what-we-do/rangers if your daughter is interested in joining Rangers, to register your interest.
The Melton division is also on the lookout for new volunteers to help out with group activities and empowering girls and young women through fun, adventure, and skill-building.
