Leicestershire entrepreneur supports small businesses at major Hashtag milestone event

A local businesswoman has been helping entrepreneurs hit the ground running in 2026 after speaking at a major UK business festival celebrating ten years of community-led networking.
Estelle Keeber, founder of Leicester-based Immortal Monkey, was one of the speakers at Hashtag 10, a week-long business festival delivered by Hashtag Events.
The festival brought together business owners from across the UK for nine hours of live workshops, attracting 1,142 attendees and recording more than 2,500 replay views, highlighting strong demand for practical, accessible business support.
Estelle, who works with small businesses to improve visibility, confidence and growth through PR and digital strategy, said the event reflected what many entrepreneurs are looking for right now.

“So many small business owners are capable and passionate, but they’re often isolated or overwhelmed. Events like Hashtag give people the chance to learn, connect and move forward together, without pressure or ego.”
Supporting local businesses through shared learning
Hashtag Events was founded by Andrew Charlton, who launched the community with the aim of creating a more people-focused approach to business networking.
Rather than traditional sales-led events, Hashtag focuses on collaboration, conversation and long-term support. Over the past decade, the community has delivered more than 300 events and welcomed tens of thousands of business owners.
Long-time speaker and exhibitor Steven Innes reflected on the growth of the events and the impact of the milestone.
“I’ve known Andrew for many years now and have exhibited with him since before lockdown. Over the years I’ve watched the offering grow steadily, and to see this week unfold is a testament to the consistent hard work and innovation Andrew delivers.
“I’m proud to be part of such a positive community. Frankly, I don’t see anything else quite like it in the UK and can only see it going from strength to strength.”
Steven added that the impact of the festival would continue well beyond the sessions themselves.
“This week will see connections grow and businesses develop. As Stefan said during the week, it all starts with a conversation. Simple, but effective.”
Looking ahead to 2026
Estelle, who continues to support local and regional businesses through her consultancy work, said she was proud to be involved in the milestone event.
“What makes Hashtag special is that it creates space for people to show up as they are, learn from others and build confidence. That kind of environment genuinely helps businesses move forward, and it’s something I’m proud to be part of.”
With further events planned throughout 2026, Hashtag Events continues to grow its reach while staying true to its community-led roots.
