Cricket stars call time on village pub

The Three Crowns at Wymeswold, was the first pub their company, the Cat and Wickets Pub Company, took over five years ago.
The lease expires on May 24 and will not be extended due in part to the tough time the sector has had during the Covid pandemic, with a series of enforced closures.

“It is with a heavy heart that we have decided not to renew this lease as the pub no longer fits our criteria.”
Stuart and Harry will continue to run the Tap and Run pub, in Upper Broughton, which they launched in September 2018.
