Coronavirus: Some Melton bus services reduced and amended


Centrebus says all services are operating as normal at present but the changes will come in from Monday.
The company has not ruled out making further service reductions if too many drivers need a period of self-isolation.

Hide AdThose journeys where reduced or amended services will apply are the number 8 two-hourly service between Grantham and Loughborough via Melton and the RF1 Melton Mowbray to Corby via Oakham service.


The following routes will operate as normal with a school holiday service during the week: 14/15 Melton Town Services; 19 Nottingham to Melton; 23/25 Melton to Stathern/Bottesford; 55/56 Grantham to Melton Mowbray; 100 Melton Mowbray to Syston; RF2 Melton Mowbray to Oakham and RF2 Melton Mowbray to Oakham.
A spokesperson for Centrebus said: “We understand that there are concerns over the current outbreak of coronavirus.
“We want to reassure all our customers and staff that their safety and well-being is our top priority.

Hide Ad“We are monitoring the situation closely to ensure we follow the latest advice and guidelines from the UK Government and Public Health England.
“If there becomes a need for a number of our staff to self-isolate, we may need to reduce the frequency of some of our services.”
