Since 2014, Access All Areas Training CIC has been delivering high-impact employment support across the region through its unique Ten Step Careers Passport programme.

Designed in-house, this innovative system has supported individuals into work for over a decade and is now set to be licensed nationally later this year.

Over the past ten years, Access All Areas has awarded more than 1,500 diplomas in employment skills and personal development, delivering courses in Melton, Loughborough, and Coalville. In 2025, the organisation underwent two independent programme inspections (Spring and Autumn), achieving an “Outstanding” grade for teaching and learning on both occasions.

Access All Areas adopts a truly innovative and holistic approach to employment support. Alongside traditional coaching and mentoring, their programmes integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), therapeutic counselling, and group development techniques. The immersive and transitional programme uses drama and roleplay as key development tools, supporting participants right through to and beyond the job interview stage. Where required, the team will accompany candidates to interviews and provide ongoing in-work support.

In addition to confidence building and mentoring, Access All Areas offers a wide range of distance learning qualifications in vocational subjects including customer service and business administration. The service is open to all ages, with no eligibility restrictions.

Access All Areas is delighted to announce its second “Support into Work” Employment Day, sponsored by Thomas Bow City Asphalt, taking place on Wednesday 28 January at the Council Chambers, Oakham. Places are still available.

This one-day workshop provides a whistle-stop introduction to Access All Areas’ services and will explore:

  • Personal development
  • Effective job-seeking strategies
  • Mentor support
  • Networking opportunities

The taster day is open to all job seekers or individuals requiring additional employment support. There are no restrictions based on age, employment status, benefits, or circumstances, and all courses are free of charge.

Previous programmes have delivered exceptional outcomes. The most recent event in Melton saw nine out of eleven participants progress into employment or further work-based training and qualifications.
