See the gardens of Grantham House

GRANTHAM House will open its doors to the public on Sunday, April 22, in aid of the National Gardens Scheme.

The sprawling medieval gardens, entered in Castlegate, will be open between 2pm and 5pm.

They are set in five acres, boasting unusual trees and colour-themed herbaceous borders.

Features include a gravel garden, iris walk and new box parterre. The woodland area is carpeted with bulbs and alongside the river there is a wildflower meadow.

Admission to the gardens is £3. Children get in free.

There will also be teas and plants for sale.
