CHICAGO (PG) has its roots in the Broadway musical and stars Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Richard Gere three of Hollywood's star performers.

Unlike Moulin Rouge this is a traditional sort of musical which just happens to have been filmed, rather than a film that just happens to be a musical. Chicago follows the story of two women with two things in common a love of the limelight and killing off their lovers. In trouble with the law, Velma Kelly (Zeta-Jones) and Roxy (Zellweger) turn to lawyer Billy Flynn (Gere) who turns his clients into media darlings. From the opening number, All That Jazz, through to the closing credits Chicago is sassy, sexy and most of all, a musical masterpiece. THE WILDTHORNBERRY'S MOVIE (U) is a children's television cartoon spin-off from Nickelodeon. It is a fast and funny adventure in which a cheetah cub is kidnapped and Eliza Thornberry a wildlife documentary film maker's daughter who can talk to animals goes on the trail of the poachers. After a time-consuming trip to a posh London boarding school, Eliza's journey is packed with adventure which at times even the parents might find exciting.
