Lions race night to raise funds for Melton Mencap

A horse racing charity night has been organised by the Melton Lions Club to raise funds for Melton Mencap and other smaller charities.

The event takes place at the town’s Royal British Legion on Friday, October 7.

Doors will open at 7.30pm ready for the first race at 8pm. People can own a horse for the night for just £2.

Tickets are £7 and include fish and chips or pie and chips. They can be obtained by emailing Sabrina Tate on [email protected] or calling 07860102223.

Early booking is important to know people’s food choice prior to the evening.
