Kids Activity Day coming to a leisure centre near you
Melton Sports Village is hosting a Kid’s Activity Day on Saturday 6 September with free soft play sessions from 9:00am until 10:00am, and again from 12:00pm until 4:30pm, for visiting children.
The centre, which is operated by the award-winning Everyone Active in partnership with Melton Borough Council, has also been selected to host a very special free ‘Storytime with Bluey’ event.
The much-loved blue heeler, will be joined by a narrator to share her hilarious take on being a swim teacher, just like in the popular ‘Bluey - Swim School’ episode! In a relatable tale, the short sessions will run at both 10:00am and 11:00am and bring storytime to life for youngsters.
‘Storytime with Bluey’ sessions are free but places are strictly limited. Register your interest at everyoneactive.com/Bluey to be notified when the free tickets are live.
Abigail Grewcock, Everyone Active’s contract manager, said: “The Melton Sports Village team is looking forward to welcoming our guests to the activity day. We’re passionate about helping children enjoy getting active. Our swimming lesson programmes are designed to make learning fun, just like Bluey’s make-believe swim school.”
