Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (12A)Reunited with The Last Samurai director Edward Zwick, Tom Cruise reprises his role as the mysterious avenger, Jack Reacher. Adapted from the 18th book in the series by acclaimed novelist Lee Child, Never Go Back sees Reacher return to his old military unit – the closest thing he ever had to a home. Once there, he finds that its new commanding officer Susan Turner (Smulders, The Avengers) has suddenly gone AWOL. To make matters worse, Reacher is arrested for a 16-year-old murder. After dispatching his captors in a typically robust manner, he sets out to right the wrongs he and Turner are accused of – facing some dark truths about his past in the process. Zwick keeps the action rolling at an agreeably hectic pace and Cruise again proves perfect as the volatile vigilante. Friday, Monday and Thursday at 6pm, Saturday at 8.45pm, Sunday at 7.45pm, Tuesday at 1pm and 3.30pm and Wednesday at 5.30pm.
