Melton choir event has been cancelled
A special one off concert that aimed to raise funds for the Rutland Water Osprey Project has been cancelled.
Melton’s popular community choir, Global Harmony were due to perform at Brooke Primary School, in Oakham, on Friday, but have had to postpone the event for reasons out of their control.
A statement issued by the choir said: “We are very disappointed indeed to have to announce that our joint concert with the Rutland Water Oprey Project team this Friday, July 1, has been cancelled by the Rutland Osprey Project due to internal reasons of their own.

Hide Ad“We do apologise on their behalf for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank all those who were intending to come on Friday. This decision is not of the choir’s making who, as you well know, are awlays up for a concert at any time - especially for a good cause.”
