Learn to be mindful with new Melton courses starting at Phoenix House

Two new '˜Mindfulness'courses are taking place this month at Melton's Phoenix House to teach people how to live in the moment.

Mindfulness is known to help with stress, anxiety and depression, and paying more attention to the present moment can improve mental well being.

The courses on offer will help participants to learn mindful and meditation techniques to lead a happier and more peaceful life.

Sam Kitson, cultural health project worker at Melton Council, said: “Everyone is welcome at either course, the sessions will be fun and friendly and you don’t have to have any knowledge of mindfulness or have practiced it before.”
