A trio of Pork Pie Plodders travelled south to Rugby at the weekend to take part in the Draycote Water 10k.

The undulating course set around the picturesque reservoir proved to be the perfect venue for achieving a brace of personal bests.

Taking part for the Plodders and storming home with a PB was Gosia Garner in 50min 07secs.

Next to finish was Emma Machowska, also with a PB time of 50.13, and Teresa Wrzszycz crossed the line in 1hr 04min 55secs.
