The 19-year-old went close to breaking her own world record in winning the T38 100m at the star-studded event - which for many athletes was their final competitive action before Rio.

Hahn broke the meeting record in 12.66 seconds, just six hundredths of a second outside her current best mark, set at the world championship final in Qatar last autumn.

“I wanted to use this race as a practice, the crowd were amazing and it’s always a nice feeling to compete in front of a huge crowd,” she said. “I hope the crowds get behind us in Rio also, but the main thing is that I do my very best.

“I know it’s going to be really difficult to achieve, but I’m targeting two gold medals in Rio; one in the relay and in the individual 100m.”

Hahn will also represent Great Britain in the 200m and jets out for a pre-Games holding camp on August 23.
