Scalford duo pip Horse Shoes team to Vale of Belvoir pairs title

The Vale of Belvoir Darts League held its pairs competition at a packed Bottesford Cricket Club on Friday night.

The standard of darts was very high with some of the league’s best players battling it out for the title.

Kings Arms, Scalford, pair Clive and Steve Rodregus won with a brilliant performance, but were pushed all the way by runners-up Jamie Haynes and Jon Benton, of the Royal Horseshoes, Waltham.

The league wishes to thank the officials and scorers for a very well-run competition.

* The league’s next meeting is at the Royal Horse Shoes on Tuesday, March 28 when trophies must be returned in a clean condition, along with any raffle prizes.
