Melton Hockey Club's festive social event was a success
A special visit from Santa for juniors and a Santa versus elves match for seniors were the main attractions at Melton Hockey Club's annual festive social event.
Players and supporters of the club turned out in fancy dress and enjoyed a day that included hockey games, hot chocolate, mulled wine, hot dogs and mince pies.
Sophie Brown,who helped organise the event said: “Thank you to everyone who supported us this year. The junior session was great fun and was made particulary special by a visit from Santa.
“The adults enjoyed a great match of Santa’s versus elves. It was a tough match but in the end the elves clinched it with a sneaky goal in the last few minutes.”
