The date of Melton RFC's first-ever Leicestershire Senior Cup final has been confirmed for Tuesday, May 3.

Gareth Collins’ side will meet Hinckley in the final which is to staged under floodlights on the hallowed turf of Welford Road (kick-off 7.30pm).

Melton booked the latest landmark in the club’s history when they defeated Oadby Wyggs 29-12 in the semi-final earlier this month, having thrashed Leicester Forest 77-0 in the previous round.
