Old Dalby schoolchild Chloe's fantastic fundraising efforts help friend battling leukaemia
An admirable pupil at Old Dalby Primary School has raised £352 to support her friend who has been diagnosed with leukaemia.
Year five Chloe Giles and her classmates completed 103 sponsored laps of the playground and held a cake sale.
Rosie Browne, acting headteacher at the school, said: “The school and Chloe’s parents are incredibly proud of the effort the girls put into the events, holding a whole school assembly to raise awareness of their charitable work.”
