Back Melton man Ben as he '˜Braves the Shave'
Ben Shouler, senior cattle auctioneer and a non-executive director at Melton Livestock Market, has embarked on many charity challenges over the years, from long-distance cycle rides to charity banger rallies across Europe. In this latest sponsored event, he will have his head shaved at Melton Mowbray Rugby Club on September 10.
Ben, who is also a member of the Melton Mowbray Round Table and on the rugby club committee, told the Melton Times: “So far I have raised £645 online with a further £435 raised at the cattle market yesterday. I’m totally humbled by the donations.”

Ben said: “Everyone at some stage will be affected by cancer, whether it be themselves, a member of the family or close friend. If I can raise a little money for a good cause by shaving my head then I think it’s a good thing.”
