Melton Council is holding a six-week consultation into the amended draft Local Plan, which details development requirements and opportunities in the borough for the next 20 years.

The council aims to submit the final Local Plan to the Government in early October, with a Public Examination hearing likely then to be heard in January ahead of the new plan being adopted next summer.

Residents have until August 23 to make comments on the latest draft plan.

Go to www.meltonplan.co.uk/focussed-changes-to-plan to see details of all the proposed changes and comment on them.
