NEWSFLASH: 25-year-old man arrested in connection with sexual assault in Melton

Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with allegations of a sexual assault in Melton.

The incident was reported in the early hours of Sunday July 16 in the town centre.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “The incident happened between 1am and 2am on Park Road in the town.

“A 25-year-old man from Melton Mowbray has been arrested and released pending further investigation.”
