Food and drink business expo to be held in Melton

The food and drink business growth expo takes place on October 25, 4-7pm, at Brooksby Melton College’s Melton town campus in Asfordby Road.

County councillor Pam Posnett, chair of the Leicestershire Rural Partnership, said: “Leicestershire is famous for its fine food and we want to ensure businesses have the expertise they need, in order to continue to thrive.”

There will be six advice seminars, plus exhibitors from a range of organisations including the National Farmers’ Union, the Federation of Small Businesses and the Leicestershire Food Forum.

The event is supported by the county council, Leicester City Council, Melton Borough Council, the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) and the East Midlands Chamber.
