A ‘party’ in your venue gradually becomes a warm and compelling play about the real and imagined distance between estranged family members.
An unusual staging for a warm and quirky theatre performance in which your audience will be welcomed into your venue for a ‘party’. It’s a leaving ‘do’ complete with bunting and snacks.
Two DJs/musicians will gently involve you in setting the scene, perhaps asking you to blow up a balloon or two, before the drama quietly starts around you.
The party is being thrown by a gardener who has stayed in her home village her whole life, and is now saying goodbye to her globetrotting sister who is leaving for outer space.
The production will take place at Twyford Village Hall on Sunday at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £7 for children. Discounts are available for advance purchase.
There will be a licensed bar and raffle. Call (01664) 840774 for details or to book.
