The countdown to Dogs Trust Loughborough’s annual Fun Day is almost over with the action taking place on Sunday, at Turnpost Farm in Wymeswold.

The event from 11am to 4pm will see past and present residents from the Wymeswold based rehoming centre turning out to help raise much needed pounds for homeless hounds.

With a fun dog show which includes 24 different classes covering everything from best veteran to waggiest tail and not forgetting best in show, there is a chance for our four-legged friends to win a rosette.

Additional activities include agility challenges, free microchipping and plenty of stalls to delight the shoppers.

Ella Tonge, Dogs Trust Loughborough supporter relations officer, said: “There will be something for all the family. Last year we raised over £16,500 so lets hope we can beat that this year.”

Entry is £2 for adults and £1 for children. Four-legged friends and parking go free.
