The Performing Stars Academy are set to bring Disney’s musical smash High School Musical to Melton this weekend (July 9 and 10).
The young cast of 90 performers (aged 4-15) bring their fifth annual all singing and dancing production to Melton Theatre on Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Academy director Suzanne Forrester said: “The show will be lively and great fun for all the family.
“The story follows the East High School’s heartthrob Troy Bolton who falls in love with Brainiac Gabriella Montez.
“With popular songs such as; We’re all in this together, Bop to the Top, Breakin’ Free, we are sure you will enjoy watching these kids perform their hearts out.
“The show has sold incredibly well and ticket availability is limited, so grab those tickets soon.”
Tickets cost £13 for adults and £11 for concessions (plus a £1 booking fee), and are available from the box office on (01664) 851111.
The Performing Stars Academy accepts all children, regardless of ability and puts on large scale productions to audiences of over 1,000.
Their next production will be Annie in April 2017. If you have a child who is under the age of 17 and loves performing, get in touch to be part of their next show. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.performingstars.co.uk
