A saxophonist who has worked with music giants James Brown and Smokey Robinson calls at two of our village halls this weekend.
Snake Davis and four-piece band Burden of Paradise perform at Wymeswold Memorial Hall on Friday and Plungar Village Hall the following evening.
Davis has also accompanied M People, the Eurythmics and many more and played the sax solo on Take That’s A Million Love Songs. The concert will feature the band’s unique interpretations of songs from the likes of Bob Dylan and Billie Holiday.
For tickets, call (01509) 881000 (Wymeswold) and (01949) 860257 (Plungar).
