Writer-director Boorman’s long awaited sequel to 1987’s hope and glory follows the now 18-year-old Bill Rohan (Turner) as he’s conscripted into the army. This beautifully shot film will entrance Boorman fans, 1950s nostalgia buffs and anyone who loves a great comedy drama. Friday, Saturday and Monday at 6pm , Sunday at 5pm, Tuesday at 2pm and Wednesday at 6.30pm.

Inspired by the true story of a folk singer who belatedly discovered

an unopened letter of encouragement that John Lennon had sent

him decades before.

The hilariously vain and creatively bankrupt Danny holes up in a hotel and tries to rediscover his long-lost talent in this humorous redemption tale. Friday at 8.30pm, Sunday at 7.30pm, Tuesday at 6.30pm and Thursday at 8pm.

Tomorrowland (12A)

Whenever Casey Newton (Britt Robertson) touches a lapel pin with the letter T on it, she finds herself transported to Tomorrowland, a city filled with huge robots and sleek buildings. The gifted young woman recruits the help of scientist Frank Walker (George Clooney), a previous visitor to Tomorrowland, who years ago made a startling discovery about the future. Together, the two adventurers travel to the metropolis to uncover its mysterious secrets. Saturday at 3.15pm and Sunday at 2.15pm.

Nancy (Lake Bell) is a delightfully unconventional 30-something singleton, who has lots to offer but hasn’t met the right guy. Recently heartbroken Jack (Simon Pegg), has embraced the brave new world of online dating and stumbles into Nancy at a station mistaking her for his blind date.
