Fifty Shades Darker (15) Valentine’s Day marks the return of the wildly successful franchise based on E. L. James’s bestselling erotic novels. Picking up where Fifty Shades Of Grey left off, we rejoin Ana Steele (Johnson) as she tries to put her relationship with the troubled Christian Grey (Dornan) behind her. But when Christian woos her back with a promise to try a ‘normal’ relationship, his dark past threatens their newfound bliss, tipping this romantic drama into thriller territory. Kim Basinger, Bella Heathcote (The Neon Demon) and Hugh Dancy (Hannibal) join a seductive cast, which again includes pop icon Rita Ora, Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty), Marcia Gay Harden (Magic In The Moonlight), Luke Grimes (Taken 2), Victor Rasuk, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini. Friday, Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6pm and 8.30pm, Sunday at 7.45pm, Monday at 6pm and Tuesday at 4.15pm.

Ballerina (U) In late 19th-century rural Brittany, Félicie (Fanning, Maleficent), an impoverished orphan, harbours childish dreams of becoming a ballerina. Passing herself off as a privileged, spoilt child, she enrols as a dance student at the prestigious Paris Opera, finding the training and social life hard going until kindly caretaker Odette (Jepsen, hit singer-songwriter of Call Me Maybe) takes her under her wing. Along with Félicie’s best friend Victor (DeHaan, The Amazing Spider-Man), an aspiring but not very successful inventor, Odette hatches a plan to turn Félicie’s dreams into reality. Animation expert Éric Warin and prolific French TV director Eric Summer have combined to concoct a delightful adventure. Saturday at 3.45pm and Sunday at 3pm.

Over her last few days, she created her list: writing her thoughts and memories down, to help the man she loved create the best life possible for their two sons, after she was gone. Tuesday at 2pm.
