Plenty of fun lined up for Rempstone Church Fete

Have your say

A familiar cook has been assigned to lunchtime duty at Rempstone Church Fete on Saturday.

The Reverend Tim Parker has volunteered to take charge of the barbecue, a centre point of the refreshments being served on the day from 11am until 3pm.

Rempstone PC social committee organiser Gloria Kenney said: “We are holding a traditional church fete with stalls and games such as coconut shy, treasure hunt board and guess the bear’s birthday.

“Most activities will be held outdoors, weather permitting and inside the church there will be a variety of stalls.”

Admission is free and there will be ample parking space available.
